Choosing a Concert Producer in Bengaluru: A Kalaluha Guide

The uncomfortable truth about hiring a concert producer is that you find out whether you chose well on the one night it is too late to change your mind. Decks look alike. Promises sound alike. The only reliable way to choose is to ask questions that can be answered with evidence rather than adjectives. Having produced close to thirty shows in Bengaluru since 2023, Kalaluha has a clear view of what those questions should be, and we are happy to be judged by them ourselves.
Ask what they have delivered, not what they can do
"We can handle major artists" is a claim. A calendar is proof. Look for named shows at named venues with named partners: Kalaluha's record includes Shreya Ghoshal's All Hearts Tour at New Horizon College of Engineering, presented with Superhits 93.5 RED FM under RED LIVE in Concert, which sold out; Padma Shri Kailash Kher with Band Kailasa at Lakeside at Orion Mall; Sid Sriram at KTPO Whitefield; and Akcent, the Romanian pop band fronted by Adrian Sina, at RCB Bar & Cafe, an international production run end to end. A producer who has cleared artists of that stature has cleared the riders, the liaison and the expectations that come with them.
Third-party coverage matters too, because it is the one thing a producer cannot write for themselves. After the Shreya Ghoshal night, Explocity called Kalaluha "renowned for its creativity and dedication to delivering exceptional musical experiences". Ask any prospective partner what the press said about their shows.
Check the full stack, not just the stage
Live Concert Experiences at Kalaluha cover four deliverables: artist booking and liaison; stage, sound and light production; ticketing, promotion and sponsorship; and show direction. That list doubles as a due-diligence checklist. Some vendors do stagecraft but have never sold a ticket. Some do promotion but rent every technical decision. The gaps get expensive, because whatever the producer does not own, you end up owning. Ask specifically who handles ticketing, who talks to sponsors, and who directs the running order on the night. If the answers name three different companies, you are not hiring a producer, you are hiring a coordinator.
Commercial credibility is checkable as well. Kalaluha's productions have crossed 3.5 lakh tickets sold and over Rs 20 crore in combined ticketing and brand-partnership value since 2023. Numbers like these tell you sponsors and audiences have repeatedly voted with money.
Look at range, because your show is not their last show
A producer who can only do one kind of night will bend your show towards that kind. Kalaluha's slate deliberately spans playback royalty, devotional evenings with thousands of devotees, Kannada hip hop at The Leela Palace, club properties, and an international pop act. Range is evidence of method: it means the company adapts production to the show rather than forcing shows into a template.
Finally, meet the people. Companies do not produce concerts; teams do. Kalaluha was founded in 2023 by Dr. Chethana R S with her sibling and business partner Vishal R S, and the team pages on this site tell you exactly who does what. Put us through the checklist above: start with the Live Concert Experiences service, inspect delivered nights like Kailash Kher live and Akcent at RCB Bar & Cafe, and reach the team through the contact section.
