Vaibhav B Bharadwaj: The Creative Director Behind Kalaluha's Nights

Every Kalaluha production begins with a question that has nothing to do with trucking, permits or load-in schedules: what should this night feel like? Answering it is the job of Vaibhav B Bharadwaj, Creative Director at Kalaluha, the Bengaluru live-event and concert production company founded in 2023 by Dr. Chethana R S and Vishal R S.
The job: look and feel first
Vaibhav plans and executes Kalaluha's large-scale entertainment and cultural events. The brief is simple to state and hard to do. Decide how a night should look and feel. Then make sure every production choice serves that vision. If a decision about the stage, the screens, the signage or the campaign does not serve the feel of the night, it changes until it does.
The catalogue he works across is wide. A sold-out show on the Shreya Ghoshal All Hearts Tour, staged with Superhits 93.5 RED FM under RED LIVE in May 2024. Kailash Kher at Orion Mall in 2023. Sid Sriram on Krishna Janmashtami at KTPO in 2025. Hip Hop Tamizha at NICE Grounds. Celebrity cricket with the Appu Cup, played in memory of Puneeth Rajkumar. Each one asks a different version of the same question, and each one needs its own answer.
Built in storytelling, branding and experiential marketing
Vaibhav is a creative entrepreneur, digital strategist and event production professional. His career was built in storytelling, branding and experiential marketing, and the range shows in his Kalaluha portfolio: creative direction, visual branding, event marketing, audience engagement, sponsorship communication and digital campaigns. Few production houses put all six under one title. Kalaluha does it deliberately, because a night only feels like one thing when one person is accountable for how it looks everywhere, from the first announcement to the last lighting cue.
He is also the founder and CEO of The House of Edits, a multidisciplinary creative agency working across digital marketing, branding, video production, social media strategy, design, web development and corporate communications. Its clients include businesses, educational institutions, real estate brands, entertainment companies and public personalities. He arrives at every Kalaluha project already fluent in the tools it will need.
An engineer's discipline
Vaibhav holds a B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering, with a specialisation in Cyber Security, from Presidency University, Bengaluru. It is not the standard degree for a creative director, and it shows in the way he works: structure first, assumptions tested, nothing left to run on hope.
His belief is direct. Every event should leave something behind. His standard is just as direct: every campaign and show should inspire trust, hold attention and create lasting value. Kalaluha's own line about him says the rest: "Where the idea meets the cable, he makes it hold."
Why the seat matters
Kalaluha's philosophy is that every unforgettable night begins with an empty stage. Somebody has to decide what fills it, and why. That is the Creative Director's seat. Across close to thirty productions since 2023, with more than 3.5 lakh tickets sold, that seat has belonged to Vaibhav B Bharadwaj.
