Vaibhav B. Bharadwaj: Kalaluha's Creative Director in Profile

Before anyone buys a ticket to a Kalaluha show, they meet the show somewhere else first: on a poster, in a reel, on an LED frame, in a sponsor deck. Every one of those first meetings passes through Vaibhav B. Bharadwaj, Kalaluha's Creative Director. His job, reduced to one line, is to make sure the show a person imagines when they see the artwork is the show they get when the lights come up.
Two hats, worn simultaneously
Vaibhav is not only Kalaluha's Creative Director. He is also the founder and CEO of The House of Edits, a multidisciplinary creative agency working across digital marketing, branding, video production, social media, design, web development and corporate communications, with clients spanning businesses, education, real estate, entertainment and public personalities. Running an agency of that breadth means he arrives at Kalaluha's table already fluent in every medium a show needs to speak through.
His education adds an unexpected edge: a B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering with a Cyber Security specialisation from Presidency University Bengaluru. A creative director with an engineer's training tends to treat design as a system rather than a collection of pretty files, and it shows in how Kalaluha's campaigns hold together across formats.
The brief at Kalaluha
At Kalaluha, Vaibhav's remit covers creative direction, visual branding, event marketing, audience engagement, sponsorship communication and digital campaigns. In practice, that means he owns the entire conversation between a show and its public. The look of the announcement. The rhythm of the campaign that follows. The way a sponsor's presence is woven in without cheapening the night. The digital push that turns interest into attendance.
The work varies wildly by project, which is exactly what makes the seat demanding. A sold-out Shreya Ghoshal night, a devotional Janmashtami production with ISKCON, a Kannada hip hop evening at The Leela Palace with holographic visuals inspired by legendary Kannada cinema, a Romanian pop act at RCB Bar & Cafe: each demands its own visual language, and each still has to feel unmistakably like Kalaluha.
Part of a creative chain
Creative direction at Kalaluha is a relay, not a solo. Concepts and campaigns take shape under Vaibhav; final artwork passes through Megharaj S N, who handles creative design and visual operations and holds every poster and LED frame to the forty-feet-wide standard. The founder's sensibility runs through it all: Dr. Chethana R S is herself an artist across 57+ techniques, which means creative work at Kalaluha is reviewed by people who make things, not just approve them.
The company Vaibhav helps present has real weight behind it: close to thirty productions since 2023, more than 3.5 lakh tickets sold, over Rs 20 crore in combined ticketing and brand-partnership value. Numbers like those are earned one campaign at a time, by making each show impossible to scroll past.
The best measure of a creative director is whether the audience arrives already excited, and Kalaluha's sold-out nights suggest they do. Meet Vaibhav at his team page, see the visual standard his campaigns feed into at Megharaj S N's page, and judge the output yourself in the gallery.
