From Cyber Security to Creative Director: The Path of Vaibhav B Bharadwaj

Creative directors usually arrive from design schools, film sets or advertising floors. Vaibhav B Bharadwaj arrived from a computer science classroom. Kalaluha's Creative Director holds a B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering, with a specialisation in Cyber Security, from Presidency University, Bengaluru. It is not the standard route into live entertainment. It might be a better one.
What security thinking gives a showman
On paper, cyber security and concert production share nothing. In practice, they share the thing that matters most: both are systems disciplines that punish weak assumptions. Security work trains a person to ask what could break before it breaks, to map every path in and out, and to treat trust as something engineered rather than assumed. A live event is the same problem in a louder room. One night. One chance. Thousands of people. The habits transfer directly.
Building the creative stack
From that technical base, Vaibhav built his career in storytelling, branding and experiential marketing. Today he is a creative entrepreneur, digital strategist and event production professional. He is also the founder and CEO of The House of Edits, a multidisciplinary creative agency working across digital marketing, branding, video production, social media strategy, design, web development and corporate communications. Its clients range from businesses and educational institutions to real estate brands, entertainment companies and public personalities.
At Kalaluha, the full stack comes together. Vaibhav plans and executes the company's large-scale entertainment and cultural events. He decides how a night should look and feel, then makes sure every production choice serves that vision, on shows like Hip Hop Tamizha at NICE Grounds in 2025. His portfolio covers creative direction, visual branding, event marketing, audience engagement, sponsorship communication and digital campaigns.
A company of crossed disciplines
Kalaluha is built from non-standard resumes. Co-founder Vishal R S is an IIT Roorkee alumnus who runs a money-management platform and advises companies as a virtual CFO. Founder Dr. Chethana R S is a practicing Ayurvedic physician, artist and producer. A creative director with a cyber security degree fits the pattern exactly. People who cross disciplines carry tools the specialists never packed.
What the degree left behind
The technical education did not make Vaibhav a designer or a storyteller. It made him rigorous about both. His standard at Kalaluha is that every campaign and show should inspire trust, hold attention and create lasting value. Trust is a security word. It moved with him from one field to the other.
His belief is that every event should leave something behind, and his signature line reads like an engineering spec for showmanship: "Where the idea meets the cable, he makes it hold." The unusual path is not a footnote in his story. It is the method.
