Fandom at Gilly's Redefined: Home of Kalaluha's Kannada DJ Night

A club property lives or dies by its room. You can book the right DJs and design the right posters, but if the venue's energy does not match the night's idea, the crowd feels it within one set. Fandom at Gilly's Redefined in Koramangala is where Kalaluha's Kannada DJ Night found its room: a club stage in the middle of Bengaluru's densest nightlife district, hosting a property built on a simple conviction, that Kannada music belongs on club soundsystems.

The venue as a recurring stage

Producing a one-off show and running a recurring club property are different trades. A one-off is a sprint. A property is a relationship: with the venue, with the resident audience, and with the artists who return. At Fandom, the 7 December edition carried a lineup of DJ Lethal A, DJ Nuthan and DJ Harry D Cruzz, names our audience recognises from across the Kannada DJ circuit we have been building.

A club venue rewards production restraint and curation ambition. The core infrastructure, sound, lights, bar and floor, is the venue's. Our work is the layer on top: the identity of the night, the sequencing of the lineup, the visuals that make a Tuesday poster feel like an event, and the standards that keep every edition consistent with the last. That consistency is the whole game in club properties. People return to a night because they trust it.

Where this night came from

The Kannada DJ Night at Fandom is not an experiment. It is the current edition of a lineage that goes back to February 2022, when the first Kannada DJ party was staged with NKM, Namma Karnataka Memes, billed in Explocity's coverage as being in association with Chethana production. By September 2023 the property had grown into NKM and Kalaluha presenting Kannada DJ Night, as listed on Insider.in. Since then, eight premium Kannada DJ properties have been built under the Kalaluha umbrella.

That history matters when you walk into Fandom on an edition night. The crowd singing along to Kannada tracks on a club floor is not a novelty anymore. It is a scene, and it was built edition by edition, venue by venue, over years.

Notes for organisers considering club venues

If you are building a recurring music night, choose your venue like a co-founder. You need a management team that wants your property to succeed, a location your audience already moves through, and a room whose scale matches your realistic draw, not your hopeful one. Koramangala answers the location question about as well as any neighbourhood in Bengaluru can, and Fandom at Gilly's Redefined has been a genuine partner venue for this property.

The night's full story is at Kannada DJ Night, with artwork from across our editions in the gallery. The property sits within the Live Concert Experiences side of our work, described at our services, and the founder whose conviction started it, back before Kalaluha itself existed, is Dr. Chethana R S. Eight properties in, the thesis has been tested: Kannada music fills club floors, and Fandom is one of the rooms that proved it.
