The Press Coverage of Kalaluha Productions, Collected

A production company's press file is a strange kind of mirror: it shows you what the outside world decided your work meant. Since 2023, Kalaluha's productions have been covered by city publications, ticketing platforms, Kannada dailies and television channels. Collected in one place, the coverage tells a story we did not write ourselves, which is exactly what makes it worth reading.

The early record: a company gets named

The oldest citation in our file predates the company itself. Explocity's coverage of the first Kannada DJ party in February 2022 with NKM, Namma Karnataka Memes, billed the night as being in association with Chethana production. By September 2023, Insider.in listed the property as NKM and Kalaluha present Kannada DJ Night. Two listings, eighteen months apart, and between them a production credit became a company name. Press archives capture these transitions more honestly than any brand deck.

When Padma Shri Kailash Kher and Band Kailasa played Lakeside at Orion Mall in October 2023, Malls Market's coverage carried a line we still quote: presented to you by Kalaluha, an initiative by Chethana RS. Simple, factual, and the first time the founding link between the company and Dr. Chethana R S appeared in third-party print.

The line we would frame

The Shreya Ghoshal All Hearts Tour in May 2024, presented with Superhits 93.5 RED FM under RED LIVE in Concert, produced the most complete description of the company anyone has written. Explocity called Kalaluha, led by Dr. Chethana R S and Vishal R S, a dynamic event management company renowned for its creativity and dedication to delivering exceptional musical experiences. Every founder secretly hopes the press will one day describe the company the way the founders see it. That sentence came close, and it was attached to a sold-out night, which is the only context in which such a sentence means anything.

The Kannada press embraces Crazy Brahma

The broadest coverage in our file belongs to Crazy Brahma, the 30 May 2026 tribute to Crazy Star V. Ravichandran and Naada Brahma Hamsalekha at JK Grand Arena Kengeri. The event has been covered by Kannada dailies including Vishwavani, Udayavani, Kannada Prabha and Eesanje, alongside Asianet and TV9. The breadth makes sense: 51 years of Eshwari Combines, 65 years of Ravichandran and four decades of the Ravichandran-Hamsalekha collaboration is Kannada cultural history, and the Kannada press treats its own history seriously. For a production company, being trusted with a story the state's media cares about that much is its own form of review.

What a press file teaches a producer

Reading our coverage together, three lessons stand out. First, the press covers meaning, not logistics: no publication has ever written about our load-in schedules, and every publication has written about what a night represented, whether that was Kannada club culture claiming premium spaces or two legends being honoured. Second, consistency compounds: the same company name appearing across Explocity, Insider.in, Malls Market and the Kannada dailies over four years builds an identity no single campaign could buy. Third, coverage follows genuine events: every line in our file is attached to a real night with real ticket buyers, close to thirty productions and more than 3.5 lakh tickets so far, and we intend to keep the file growing the honest way. The next entries are already scheduled: Nandagovindam Signature Edition 2026 marks 25 years of a beloved bhajan tradition, and the roadmap beyond it carries original IPs the press has not met yet.

The full collection lives on our press page, the night that earned the Explocity line is documented at the Shreya Ghoshal All Hearts Tour, and the story the Kannada dailies took up is at Crazy Brahma.
